"Peace on Earth"
Raul Midon, performer extraordinaire, is now featured on TED singing two of his songs, Peace on Earth, and Everybody. If you have never heard him, here is your opportunity. I first heard him on one of the late-night talk shows a few years back, but can't remember which one.
What I remember is being immediately impressed with his performance, and wondering why I had never heard him sing before.
His message in these songs are timely, and on-topic, as they make an appeal for more peace and harmony in our strife-filled world--an appeal that I make here from time to time sharing how others are going about the task of peacemaking.

I love Raul Midon. I have 2 (maybe both) of his albums in my mp3 player, but oddly I don't remember this song. I must pay more attention. Thanks for sharing him.
Lex, The Secret Place is honored by your presence.
The first time heard Midon I was blown away.
For a time I flirted with the idea of creating a web page to highlight his talent and give him greater exposure.
I still may do it.
My Heart Leaps Up
My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So is it now I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
The Child is father of the Man;
And I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety.
